Newshour/Twt/WU: Khan al-Ahmar

BBC bias: the BBC Middle East Editor fails to report that the $25 million cut in US aid to East Jerusalem hospitals has already been fully replaced by the Palestinian Authority (announced a week ago, see https://mondoweiss.net/2018/09/political-jerusalem-hospitals/).
The BBC also inserts its announcement of this American cut into a report on a totally different subject, the proposed Israeli demolition of Khan al-Ahmar.

this evening (monday 17th), 9.51-9.59pm, on bbc world service radio (repeated 10.18-10.25pm, on the world tonight on bbc radio 4) (repeated tuesday 18th, at 10.11am on world update and at 2.36pm on newshour)
newshour (presented by tim franks) includes …

“The consequent fear is that the destruction of Khan al-Ahmar will open the way to more building for Israeli settlers, which will in turn split the West Bank and make the two-state solution, an independent Palestine alongside Israel, impossible.”
