Would you feel uncomfortable if in a few weeks time Peter Willsman remains in the party, having claimed that anti-semitism is not only made up, but has been created by the Israeli embassy, would you feel uncomfortable if he’s still there?

The Telegraph reports that Jeremy Corbyn is embroiled in another row about anti-semitism after he’s found to have endorsed a book written in 1902, which argued that Europe’s banks and newspapers were controlled by Jews. It says that four years before he become Labour leader, he wrote a foreword to a new edition of J A Hobson’s Imperialism, A Study, which was written in 1902, in which he described the book as brilliant and a great tome. … anti-semitism in Hobson’s writings has been widely covered in historical circles. The paper notes that Labour has admitted that the text has anti-semitic elements …”
