“It’s 80 years ago today that the first Kindertransport train arrived in the UK. 200 children from a Jewish orphanage in Berlin reached Harwich on December 2nd 1938. In total, 10,000 children used this route, most arriving at Liverpool Street station in London, before being re-homed around the UK.”
